Thank You + A Delicious Dinner Recipe

I am so very excited about the initial response to this online community that has finally come to fruition!! Your Facebook posts and comments and your emails and text messages have made my heart happy. I knew that women in Roanoke were looking for a resource like this….but hearing from you has confirmed this in a HUGE way.

So, now, what would you like to see in this community?? What kinds of things can I provide for you?? I am committed to finding the very BEST businesses and organizations in town to be a part of our business directory. By BEST I mean those ones that truly desire to connect with you and build a loyal relationship with you….the ones that do what they say they are going to do and operate with a very high level of integrity. I will accept nothing less.

We have a chance to make such an impact in the Roanoke Valley area and I can’t wait to see just how big it is.
I look forward to hearing from many of you….I welcome your thoughts and ideas and suggestions and input. This is a community for you, LOCAL WOMEN AND MOMS!!

One of my good friends suggested that maybe we could have a recipe section within the community. What a GREAT idea!! If you have a fantastic recipe that you think other women in the community would love, please email it to me at dayna@roanokeforwomen.com. In the meantime, I will get this recipe party started with one of my kids favorites….and its SUPER easy!

CROCK POT LASAGNA
3 lbs of ground beef
1 onion (diced)
1 carton lasagna noodles
3 jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce
15oz – 30oz ricotta cheese (depending on how much you love cheese)
24 oz mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS:
Brown all 3 lbs of ground beef with the diced onion.
Add 2 of the 3 jars of spaghetti sauce.
In a LARGE crockpot, you will layer:
Ground beef mixture then UNCOOKED noodles, then ricotta cheese, then some sauce from the third jar, then some mozzarella cheese. Continue to layer until the crock pot is FULL.
Cook on low 4 – 5 hours or high 3 – 4.
DONE. Yes, DONE!

Serve with Caesar salad and garlic bread (please let me know how you get your kids to eat salad).

After dinner, send me a message and tell me how much you LOVED this easy dinner.

Thank you for being a part of this community. It is for you that it was created. I hope that it meets your expectations!!
