Horizon for Women.
You can do this!!
If you're thinking about returning to college to earn your bachelor of arts degree, the Hollins Horizon Program may be the right choice for you.
One of the nation's top liberal arts colleges for women, Hollins provides an ideal setting for women returning to school. Established in 1974, the Horizon Program makes it easy and affordable to resume your education at your own pace. You work with a distinguished faculty dedicated to teaching.
To ease the transition into academic life, Hollins offers a special Horizon advisor, a comfortable place to study, relax, and meet others between classes, and a strong support network of Horizon students and alumnae.
Graduates have gone on to successful careers in teaching, art, business, scientific research, counseling, and fund-raising.
To be considered as a Horizon student, you must have been out of high school for a minimum of five to six years. Transfers from community colleges are welcome.
One of the distinguishing characteristics of Hollins' Horizon Program is that the degree is the same degree that all Hollins graduates earn; it's not a separate certificate. Hollins' entire undergraduate offerings from art to biology, to English and psychology are available to you.
