1. What is a mortgage broker?

Atlantic Bay Mortgage is not only a mortgage broker, BUT, also a mortgage banker. Both a mortgage broker and mortgage banker take applications and process necessary paperwork for a loan. A mortgage broker does not fund a loan with their own money, but works on behalf of several investors such as S & L's, banks and investment bankers. A mortgage banker funds the loan with their own money. At Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, depending on the clients scenario, we can do both. By funding the loan ourselves, we have complete control over the underwriting and turn around of the loan process, thus, we are usually able to close the loan sooner than when it is brokered. What I do personally as a Mortgage Consultant is work on behalf of the client to find the BEST loan product for THEIR situation, whether brokered OR not.

2. How long have you been in the mortgage industry?

I have been in the mortgage industry for 3.5 years. Before the mortgage industry I sold postage meters for 15 years ~ 8 with Pitney Bowes and 7 with Automated Mailing Systems, Inc. With my sales experience, I am toned into listening to my clients needs and delivering the product that suits them.

I truly want to help your financial picture today and into the future. I also keep my clients informed of market trends via quarterly newsletters, special alerts and yearly reviews.
